Magically Yours

Amanda has tried everything to find her soulmate, that one individual on the planet meant especially for her. She’s tried dating services, personal ads, singles organizations, but to no avail. Finally, trusting to the Goddess and her Wiccan beliefs, Mandy tries a candle love spell. All seems to be going well until her housemate, Ben, arrives home early from a business trip and blows out the candles before the spell is complete. Suddenly, there’s a young woman in the hall closet; her friend, Jonathan, in her bathroom; and Carol from the gym in the living room. And let’s not forget the pizza boy! Which one did the Goddess send or did she send them all? In this contemporary farce, our heroine explores the nature of finding love and comes to an unexpected realization, one only the Goddess could have conjured.

All Hallow’s Eve

Not to be confused with Ms. Navarro’s new novel, this delightful farce takes a look at contemporary religious mores through the eyes of a little missionary Faerie sent to spread the word of the Goddess in rural Texas. Leetha finds her job lonely and difficult. No one will listen to her and she is always being banished as a devil, whatever that might be. With the help of the mischievous Puck, she thwarts the agenda of her strict mistress and finds love simply blossoming all around her in the mesquite grove. Ye-Haw!

Severe Clear

Planes have crashed into the World Trade Center and the scene in the anteroom of heaven is chaotic. Atta arrives expecting his version of paradise, but finds a fast talking Gabriel instead. The archangel is none too pleased to be there. If Michael had only taken his advise earlier in the morning, none of this might have happened. But, oh no, the big angel boy upstairs had to ignore him. Now Gabe is stuck issuing spirits into the throne room with the help of the Reverend Mother, Keeper of the Books. But RM can’t seem to find Atta’s name anywhere, so he has to remain outside Paradise until she can located the correct list. In the meantime, Ruth and Jack, victims of the attack, find their way to the anteroom as well. Will the Reverend Mother find their names? Will any of them ever get into heaven? Or return to earth? The statues in the anteroom keep real time, while the tension builds as the three try to put their stories together.
